absolutely stunning! the parking lot is just a short 3 minutes walk from the gardens. there are 22 hectar to explore. well worth the price of £9. there is a coffee shop and plants for sale. many places to sit and there are accessible routes for people with mobility problems. View all feedback.
Beautiful gardens worth a visit. just now the bluebells are in their main thing and the wisteria is beautiful. many different plantings to give the whole year about interest and many routes through to suit everyone. nice caffe too.
First visit in this amazing garden, it will not be the last! such an absolute joy to go around are the workers who are mainly volunteers exceptional. and 2 plants bought, fabulous quality, are in the car lol.
Delightful place to be on a Spring morning with the sound of the warblers and humming of the bees. Sit by the lake and see the fish. The bluebells and variety of magnolias are beautiful. So much to appreciate

Wonderful private gardens set in 20 acres, feels a lot less when you are walking round. Possesses the National Collection of Astibes with over 200 different varieties/cultivars and is the biggest collection in the world, a lot of which you can buy on site as well as lots of other plants. Nice liitle cafe serving Devon Cream Teas. Great collection of different tree species from all around the world. Lovely lakes and big garden as well. Would recommend visiting if you are in the area.
