What Alex Gan doesn't like about Bento Sushi:
The quality of sushi here went down. Not sure if it's a new chef. California rolls have now almost no avocado, you can barely see it, rice is very dry despite that it was way too far from the expiration date. The presentation of sushi is not as appealing as it used to be. I gave it a second try and still the same after a few weeks. North of Barrie location and Collingwood so far had the best Bento sushi. I would not recommend this place if you’re a fan of sushi. I had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna. Although they were very well prepared and the presentation was excellent, the taste was less than favourable. It definitely had the grocery store sushi taste (yes I bought it at a grocery store but Bento Sushi is usually, from previous experiences, a decent place to get sushi).
