Slice of heaven. I was a tourist in the area therefore limited in what I could try. Everything looked divine. Bought a few different pastries, the cherry quark cake was fantastic and the Florentiners were the most delicate and tasty morsels ever created with almond, butter, and chcolate. What Multi Guitar Player doesn't like about Sigrids Bakery:
Not European style, or quality cakes. Being from a European background, I figured that we've hit the jackpot. Not! Had a plain white, 3 layered cake, with white icing. Cake was more than moist..downright wet, and the icing tasted like coloured Crisco.
