"Good old Greg did not disappoint. I tried all top Frozen Custard shops in MI, IL, WI and MO. Now, good news is Greg is selling real frozen custard. Many shops sell soft serve or frozen yogurt under the name of frozen custard. There are three tests to agood frozen custard. Test 1. The machinery. If you are getting your custard from a device like a beverage fountain where theyhold the cup underneath and fill. You are not getting frozen custard my friends! Test 2. The spoon. If the frozen custard isserved with filmsy a soft spoon that easily bends, that is not a custard you are spooning. Test 3. The texture! The mostimportant test. Now spoon your custard and look into your cup, if the spot you just scooped has sandy looks then that is a lowquality custard. If that scooped area is silky smooth and flat as the surface of a quartz countertop then this is good news!these guys are using some egg yolks in their recipee to make real frozen custard. Greg's custard passed all three tests. It isdefinitely not as good as Kopp's Frozen Custard in WI but so far the best in IL that I found. Good job Greg."

"Had dinner with my girlfriend at Pl8 last night. The service was great! The sushi is not what it used to be but the manager was very nice and accommodating. He offered to make some of the savory rolls they used to make. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD SUSHI MENU! This new sushi menu is like Jewel sushi. I am giving you 5 stars because the service and atmosphere were phenomenal not to mention the awesome drink menu. Best old fashioned I have ever had. Our server Ariana did a great job too. She was very knowledgeable. Since we couldn't get some of our old favorites we ventured out to try some Chinese food instead of sushi the dry chili chicken and the Sichuan string beans were very good. We'll be back but please bring back the old sushi menu."

"We’ve been to this place a couple times now, and I’ve now decided it’s my favorite restaurant. Every time we go it is phenomenal food and service. Girls night, date night, or special occasions, this is the perfect place. While a little pricey, the quality is 100% worth every penny. Staff is knowledgeable and kind, and everything I’ve tried has blown me away. Bacon wrapped dates and the wedge salad are to die for. Will be returning soon. "Nice place. We were there for a postbeer dinner and everything was very nice. The staff was great. Pasta and chicken were very good. For dessert it was not very important, but it was visible beautiful. It was a hard day for everyone, but no problems from the restaurant. Thank you all."
