Great place to eat at a decent price. eating is nice and the service is fast.

Decent breakfast, small must eat for free. friendly staff, clean tables, good coffee. can not complain

As a family it is a great place, only we are a family of 6 so we usually need 2 tables. not many 6 sitting. prices are very affordable l. kinder meals are for 6 and under really could do with children section then a larger child section and then obviously the adult section. never had a problem before

After nearly three years since my last visit to the Barrow in Furness store, I decided to stop in for a delicious all-day breakfast. I was feeling hungry and remembered how pleasant my previous visit was. However, I was extremely disappointed this time. Most of the self-serve drink units were not working due to cleaning, although there was no sign of anyone actually cleaning. The machines were covered in dust and dirt. The coffee cups, while warm from being run through a dishwasher, appeared to have been washed in dirty water or were stained brown from overuse. The utensils were in a similar state. When we placed our order, the cashier asked us which table we were sitting at. There were no signs instructing customers to choose a table before ordering, so my wife and I were unaware of this rule. The cashier rudely instructed us to choose a table so she could put our order through. My wife politely requested no egg with her meal, but the cashier huffed at her. In previous visits, my wife had asked for an extra sausage or bacon instead of the egg, but the cashier rolled her eyes and snapped at my wife, saying that items could be removed from a meal but not added. However, I was able to add black pudding as an extra with my meal. Feeling like an inconvenience, we patiently waited for our food at our table. I noticed that the table was still dirty from its previous occupants and asked for something to clean it with. Before I could finish asking, I was abruptly cut off and told the table had already been cleaned. Despite the good food arriving promptly and tasting as nice as I remembered, I believe this will be my last visit due to the poor customer service my wife and I experienced. Especially during a global pandemic with cases on the rise, I expected higher standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The coffee from the machine was lukewarm, there was a very limited menu selection, and the service was slow. The tables were dirty and not cleared, overall a very disappointing experience this time. Apologies.
