"Amazing food, every dish was full of flavour. Menu had a good variety for food and drinks, cocktails were top notch. Can’t decide which one was my favourite as they were all great. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend to anyone."

"Seven of us had a meal there to celebrate a visit to our old school friend from America. the eating was nice and the waitress could not do enough for us, even organize an off menu dish for a vegetarian. so a shame that this little jewel is closed at the end of the year, we will support them until then in the hope that they can remain open"

"Had the best time here with a range of different cocktails . Never thought I would enjoy tequila in a cocktail but the vimto daiquiri proved me wrong! Old favourite is the salted caramel martini, good twist on an already fab cocktail"

"Stopped for Sunday Lunch and it was exceptional. Brisket Beef fell apart and everything was cooked to perfection. Plenty of veg and meat you would not be disappointed. Highly reccomend."

"L’Enclume to reach is an adventurous as it is not just a stone's throw from the center of london. the journey is more than worth. the lake district is stunning and the entire L’Enclume experience is certainly one to remember (and in any case one that you want to repeat! . we decided to stay in our own accommodation of the restaurant which is conveniently located in the small village center of cartmel. I couldn't recommend it anymore! the rooms are simple but comfortable, suitable rustic and very cozy. the next morning the room included a nice breakfast in rogan and company, which proved to be the perfect way to finish our stay. concerning dinner, L’Enclume was perhaps the most pleasant and tasty meal I had in Britain so far. service was polished and professional, but also kept it fun and friendly. each dish was beautifully presented and totally delicious, with my absolute favorite part being the parade snacks we were presented at the beginning to begin. if they get the chance, ask them to sit in the winter garden out of the back to get a nice view of the garden and an all together brighter eating. but to be fair wherever you end, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I can't expect to go back! my only understanding is that I hate having an experience, even so much less pleasant than my first."
