Ever since I found out sticky toffee pudding was invented here, I had to stop in at the village shop. The shop contains a number of different items and the pudding is unfortunately only available for take away. Since we wanted to sit down and enjoy it, we went across the street and had it at the coffee shop. I’m sold on it. read more.

We visited on a quest to find a family-sized version of Cartmel Sticky Figgy Pudding (most shops only have the small sized portions, and family sized sticky toffee). We found it, hooray! There were many artisan products on sale, lots of local produce and staff were helpful. read more.
