For our first coffee shop during our stay, this one is excellent. It is located on the edge of the Munsterplatz Square. The staff were very cheery and helpful. One of them even came over and offered to take pictures of the two of us. From here to get a very good look at the Basel Munster Church. Our next stop. View all feedback.

After we were greeted very dully by a lady (let's call it that generously), a gentleman arrived after a while who was nicer, but was quite surprised that we, who didn't even have a card, didn't knew what we wanted. The prices are surprisingly low, especially for the location, which initially didn't bode well. After ordering, it took quite a while for our coffee and cake to arrive, but both were delicious (especially... View all feedback.
The bistro has an original interior design. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and I had to wait more than an hour for a menu salad that wasn't too fresh (rotten lettuce leaves) and a risotto (lunch menu). I then ordered a coffee that never came... I then had to try to pay myself... It's a shame if a good stay is spoiled like that, it doesn't have to be that way!
