"I usually enjoy my breakfasts here but today was not one of those occasions. Would prefer traditionally British cut bacon than the American streaky stuff but hey. Tasty sausages. Fluffy pancakes. Mushrooms were full of water and not much flavour. Not sure if the tomato was meant to be grilled, fried or what but it seemed pretty fresh. I was mostly disappointed with the amount of oil that was on the plate. It was clean oil at least but even still a couple of seconds to drain/rest/dry would have been better than what I was presented with. I wasn’t sure of the extent but when I lifted the bowl my beans were in, it was quite clear as it was dripping heavily and whilst trying to take a photo, inadvertently dripped it onto my trousers. Overall, today was a bit of a shame really because I usually enjoy the food here but just not today. Parking: Plenty of parking. Roughly 12-14 car spaces. Can sometimes be busy with bikers but they’re generally very accommodating and will relocate some bikes to allow space for cars to get in."

"Awful Experience the coffee was watered down and was not up to its usual high standard. But was was truely awful was hearing how the owner shouted at a member of staff, dismissing her on the spot and leaving her to leave in tears. I have never heard anyone speak to staff members so disgracefully. No owner or manager should ever speak to some one like that let alone when customers can hear. Poor staff and would not recommend anyone applying for a job here, let alone the coffee. Standards have totally slipped since new owners!"

"Service was good, unfortunately the meal was not, my partner and I ordered the bratpork, the filling was the size of a marble and hard, the carrots were overcooked, the bratkartoffeln were not so good, the gravy was probably granulat from a dose and as demanded for some...apple sauce was said that no available. in general very disappointed."

"Went for Sunday lunch with family based on the Trip Advisor reviews (thank you) and I am so happy we went. Received a lovely warm welcome and friendly and efficient service by a happy Team, food was yummy and a good plateful! and we had a nice chinwag with the Landlady when we reluctantly left. It was well worth the journey (about an hour from home) and we came away very happy. We will be back!"
