We have a takeaway every Friday from China Gardens, sometimes fish and chips which is always very good and reasonably priced and at other times a Chinese takeaway which again is very reasonably priced and tastes superb. We have been having takeaways from there for over 30 years during which times the place has stayed in Michael’s ownership and the service and staff have been superb. read more.

What Lwx22 doesn't like about China Garden:
This Chinese is the worst chinese I’ve ever bought. Tastes like pure booty hole. I don’t think you can even call it chicken and what kind of Singapore chow mein has what looks like uncooked sausage in it and not even spicy. Pattern yourself up. The best thing in that meal was the prawn crackers, which you don’t even cook. I really spent £20 to eat none of it. read more.
