Contribute FeedbackGreggs is a bustling eatery that draws crowds at all hours, making it a popular spot for casual dining. However, experiences vary widely. Some patrons enjoy the affordable tea and sweet treats, often served by friendly staff, while others face challenges with slow service and limited menu options. Complaints about food quality, like cold chicken bakes and underwhelming sausage rolls, add to the mixed reception. Additionally, cleanliness issues in the restrooms raise concerns. Despite its pros and cons, Greggs remains an accessible choice for a quick snack or breakfast amidst competing coffee shops.
I recently found Greggs and while I'm not a fan of sausage rolls, I can say that they have great tea and cakes or savory snacks at a reasonable price. The service is always friendly and we usually don't have to wait in line. It may not be the best option for gluten and dairy-free options, but my daughter loves the popcorn and dried fruit they have near the counter. It's a much more affordable option compared to the expensive coffee shops nearby.
I had to go to the bank to deposit a cheque and upon arrival they told there was no one equipped to do such things today and that I'd have to go back Monday. I was annoyed so I stopped at Gregg's on the way back to the car park. I ordered a chicken bake and the inside was stone cold with ice chips. I was too upset to complain as everyone and their brother was there without a mask.
You can find delicious hot potatoes at Greggs for just one pound. I recommend trying their potato sandwiches, as I love them.
Scrupulously clean shop and eating area. Friendly staff. Good range of food at very affordable prices.
Popped in for a little snack as many people do. Went to the toilet and was greeted with the rancid smell of stale urine and a bowl that was splattered with faeces. It doesn't look as if these toilets have ever been cleaned as the taps were going mouldy and every surface had a thick layer of dust. I was afraid to touch anything. By all means go for food but don't go near those toilets!
