"I asked the woman at the till if the restaurant was halal. She kindly answered a yes. I trusted her so I ate the chicken options which she confirmed were halal. What really worried me was the fact that I didn't see any halal certification or ask if there was any alchohol in some of their food. It was a delicious experience however and the food was well made and fresh. It was great and all, I'm just not sure if I was allowed to actually eat the food I never took a picture sorry"

"Chinese new year 2022. the restaurant was packed (with East Asia, also to myself, which is always a good sign) but the compromise between service and quality of food. it was so tasty, fresh, and the tee and scurry were regularly refreshed. great menu. not huge, but had everything we wanted, and some new things we had not tried before. they even grabbed my rest until home. I think this has become my new goto Chinese restaurant outside londons. it was great. highly recommended."

"I often visit for coffee with my friend but today we also had lunch for my birthday. The food was amazing, really fresh and healthy and we both agreed that it made us feel very happy! The staff are all absolutely lovely. Truly a wonderful place."

"Not your standard Thai fare but amazing authentic food. Selection is limited as all cooked fresh to order. The food is so delicious and spiciness can be adapted to suit. I had the triple cooked beef which was amazing. Bursting with flavour and melt in the mouth. "We'd heard good things about this restaurant but I was disappointed and unfortunately on a visit to Cardiff the next day we found ourselves booked in to another Italian restaurant there. I couldn't help comparing and what a difference. The squid was like rubber and the veal, though reasonably tasty, the sauce could hardly be described as pepper sauce. I also objected to having to pay an extra £4 to add a vegetable and a bit of colour, in this case peas, to the plate Surely vegetables should come with a meal. Of the other three one agreed with me. One had to add lots of pepper to the so called sauce diablo and the fourth was satisfied As for payment Cardiff was better value all round."

"We booked up a table for 6 of us to celebrate our sons 32 birthday on Sunday 15th Jan 14:30. When we arrived the restaurant was full and we had to wait in the bar area for our table to be ready. Within 10 minutes we were seated and as we already had drinks we put in our food order. The Sunday Roasts start off at £19 for half a roast Chicken, then its £20 for Lamb, Beef or Pork. None of us had starters as we know from experience just how big the meals are. My half roast Chicken came out with a Yorkshire pudding and gravy over the meat. All our meals arrived promptly and then followed on the simply superb dishes of vegetables and roast potatoes. We all did our very best to finish off all the dishes but we failed miserably. We had two dishes of Cauliflower Cheese which was divine. The Potatoes were amazing. The whole meal is just like you would expect from traditional home cooking. With every meal came another small pot of gravy to pour over your veg etc. The food was simply divine and there is literally nothing anyone could complain about. The bar has a superb stock of ales and drinks so everyone is catered for. Booking a table in advance is paramount as this place is so popular it gets busy very quickly and for good reason. We will certainly be back again in the very near future. Thank you."
