Called in while passing, never been before. Had the steak night special, was excellent. Great staff. Went to leave a tip after paying to be told that there's no need as they add a service charge on !! Not happy at the fact we weren't told about this charge first off. While I don't begrudge leaving a tip, it should be pointed out that there is a 10% charge on top of your final bill. read more.

In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come clientele with wheelchairs or physical disabilities. WLAN is available for free.

The pub is beautiful, very tastefully decorated with an excellent outdoor seating area. The menu however is extremely limited with hardly any choice for main meals which was very disappointing, especially when there are no specials in addition. The Hop Pole from Bassetlaw is a good option for a bar if you want to have a drink after work and sit with friends or alone, the restaurant offers however also meals typical for Europe. Even if you're only not so much hungry, you can still treat yourself to one of the scrumptious sandwiches, a small salad or another snack, Moreover, the delicious desserts of the house shine not only in the eyes of our little guests.
