One of 2 eateries on the main square with the chateau, we were told it was more “French” than the other. It certainly was, with an initially very surly waitress, who only thawed once she realised we spoke French. To the extent that we nearly walked out, but having ordered, service improved and the food was delicious. Certainly not bad for a quick lunch if you are in Baugé. read more.
