What Sara Shively doesn't like about Hardee’s:
Drink machines down, no straws, napkins, or condiments where customers can reach them. Had to wait on coffee to be made. Had 10 employees working, but the ones standing around could be restocking and cleaning the restaurant. Employees also park by the doors. We thought the place was very busy until we went inside and saw only one customer. Service: Dine in View all feedback.

"This is a 5 star restaurant because it is exactly what it should be a classic southern cooking experience. It does have a small kids menu our boys got grilled cheese and chicken strips, and they were fresh and yummy. Grownups had the lunch buffet. Corn, grits, green beans, baked beans, peas and potato salad. Barbecue pork, whole fried catfish, baked lemon pepper catfish, and boneless catfish nuggets. Of course there were hush puppies and cornbread muffins. The catfish was cooked to perfection no matter what kind you got. Fried was lightly breaded and crispy. Baked was juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. Homemade dessert it all looked good, but I only had room for the peach cobbler. Fresh, warm, gooey, and the crunchy sweet crust was perfect. They also had banana pudding and lemon meringue pie. All in all it was a perfect stop for late breakfast on the way north after a nice week at Gulf shores. Staff was friendly and you could tell everyone knew everyone. Will come back next year. Kid friendliness: Our kids, like many, are picky. We ordered them something from the menu but the waitress offered if there 's anything on the buffet they might like just get em some . Lots of bigger restaurants are strict about that, so I appreciated that Streets was reasonable. I begged my son to try a bite of catfish. His loss !"
