A pleasant surprise to find this very classy restaurant in the harbour town of Bay Roberts. Our last dinner in Newfoundland before returning home, we were pleased to find nicely cooked cod and delicious braised lamb on the menu. Friendly service and a view of the water at dusk made this a delightful ending to our vacation. read more.

The restaurant is accessible and can therefore also be used with a wheelchair or physiological limitations, Depending on the weather conditions, you can also sit outside and eat.

What User doesn't like about Scrunchions:
Went on a Sat night as we had heard the pan fried cod was good - they were out of cod! The salmon, even though I asked for it undercooked was overcooked and dry. Very disapointing. Only endearing feature was a great view down the bay. read more.

Scrunchions from Bay Roberts is a good place for a bar to a drink after work and be able to hang out with friends, The original Canadian dishes are well received by the customers of the local. Of course, we must not forget the extensive selection of coffee and tea specialties in this locale, here they serve a comprehensive brunch in the morning.

"This restaurant is a must if you're in this area! You have to try the food here!! The prices are really fair, it's not too expensive. The portion sizes are great too, lots of food! It's definitely a great deal. My girlfriend and I both had large plates of food. We were stuffed and the bill only came to $25 before tip! The food is also just mouthwatering! It's so delicious, anything you can try here will be good! I've never been disappointed! Definitely come here if you can!"
