August has been highly recommended, but the recent experience was disappointing. The Caesar salad lacked dressing, the gnocchi lacked sauce, and the sticky toffee pudding was dry. The service was pleasant, but for $60, the food wasn't worth it. On the other hand, the jumbo breakfast perogies and homemade scones were amazing. The restaurant is small and loud, but the server added to the enjoyable experience. The lobster darts were delicious and the crispy potatoes were exceptional. While there were some misses, August's menu offers delicious meals that will have some customers coming back for more, August typically has an average rating of 4.5.
