New Review: We visited in Januay 2024, and the hot bar has been fixed. Our food was very good and hot. I've updated my stars to refkect this. Old Review: The food quality has gone down. The hot bar hasn't been working properly for a while. My sides were cold, and that included the Brunswick Stew. They keep the hushpuppies in a steamer or something because they are usually rubbery. You alone to get things or to clean a high chair. or your drinks they only have 1 size. Like 44 mice on 2 children meals 2 adults meals and 3 Vinger ribs.
Huge portions of home cooked comfort food. Be careful, they don't take credit cards.
Would not say his best ever, I prefer Craspier hush puppies and not her plums, but the okra was big and potatoes super delicious and buttery. I love a good vinegar bq and the staff was super nice. I'd try something else next time I'm over. Reviews were quite mixed, so id just try to yourself
Yummy! Glad I chose this restaurant for lunch in Beaufort. Barbq plate, pancake, lemonade. Food and a nice crew!
This place was really great! Classic vinegar barbeque with sides. The day we went, it was pretty busy in the restaurant and with phone orders coming in. The business helped with getting freshly cooked food. The staff was also very nice. You pay and get your food at the same time. We ate in and the staff checked that everything was satisfactory after starting to eat.
