We didn't actually have a meal as it was early morning - just had a great coffee. The house is in a delightful off the beaten track place. We were interested in the house and in its connection to Lucy Maud Montgomery. The owners were so pleasant and helpful in showing us around. I was struck by their enthusiasm and attention to detail. "Where do I start…the staff, sooo friendly and helpful. Service was top notch. Located in what I believe is the old rail station in Kensington, super chill little spot to sit and have a few drinks and some delicious grub. Their burgers…my word…they don’t come much tastier than theirs. We ordered the triple classic station burger and the smokehouse burger. They were some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Fries were amazing and while plentiful, not overdone. The gravy on their poutine is a beef gravy and it’s so dang good. They use local cheese curds as well. Their soup of the day, I can’t remember what it was, but it was freaking amazing. Haha And the fish…oh the fish…biggest piece of haddock I’ve gotten anywhere yet! They make a cranberry Moscow mule that is to die for, I could sit and drink that all dang day!! Highly highly recommend a visit there!!!"

"This restaurant has a nice pub atmosphere and comfortable seats. There is no wait time on a Monday night, but also no mussels as they were out. That was very disappointing, especially as it was still hours before closing. I recommend the clam chowder-it has great flavours and is packed with seafood. I also had the Thai bites, which were average. However, the homemade chips that came with the Thai bites were a home run."
