Great pub in Duffield. Real ale I can recommend the Bass is brilliant. Had a few meals here in the past and all good there. "A superb traditional Fish and Chip shop. First time visit tonight as a family. They serve really good fish and chips along with some home made dishes. Fish is cooked to order. We ate in. Crispy batter, crunchy chips. My wife enjoyed the lasagne and my children are scampi. All in all the best we've had in the area. Will be back. Parking is tight but do able. "Wonderful place for vegan eating, eating was fantastic! I had the 'buddy dilly ' avacado, artichoke, pine nuts, toms and roasted courgette in a clobigen roll with soyslav. I've fucked myself, and there was no noise. the people looked. the personal was really friendly and made me feel like at home. if I had had my pantoffels, they would have fought to get rid of me. many vintage-trinkets and art works for sale as well, with a large vintage shop right next door. a real jewel of an orte."
