"The staff were really friendly and they had two fires going which we sat by. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our visit. The staff (owner) provided us some games to play for our children and we had a very relaxed time. We could have sat there for hours if we had the time..."

"We enjoyed a meal at this Chinese restaurant when visiting Benalla recently. Kim Wah was full to capacity midweek and take away business was brisk. The staff handled the busy dining room competently and our meal was delivered in a timely way. The menu was typical traditional Aussie Chinese so no surprises there but the dishes we chose were tasty and servings quite generous. I imagine food would be very consistent at Kim Wah as the place runs like a well-oiled machine."

"After some disappointments with food and service 3 to 4 years ago, there is a real turn around at this club. My friend and I, both Seniors, enjoyed a low cost meal of Fish and chips with salad. Presentation and taste was great. I enjoyed the 'different' salad dressing, he did not. If you don't like dressing, ask for it not to be included. I found new people are in charge of the kitchen from about 9 months ago. I'll be back more often. Young bar staff, Sarah and I think Peter, were very friendly, as was lady taking meal orders. Club has Great Northern mid strength beer on tap, which if you have not tried is a nice drop. Bistro, club and toilets spotlessly clean. Reasonable menu, plus specials board. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Has pokies and TAB. Give it a go !"

"Food was exceptional, great traditional Indian flavours, really really lovely. One of the best Indian meals we've had in a long time. Service was slow and we were in a bit of a hurry so this was frustrating. But will definitely return when we have time for a leisurely meal."
