Always super quick service and lovely staff. The food is always fresh and delicious. Happy to accommodate with any extras you require, any request is never an issue. Great Turkish style food. I've heard good things about the Kebabs at Cafe Istanbul so thought I'd give it a go last Saturday night. Went to order and I was told there were all out of Lamb, whilst inconvenient that was not the major problem! Going in with my friend, we ordered 3 kebabs for take-away and were given a number to wait. In the end we had to wait 55 minutes for a few kebabs with 4-5 staff on at the time. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable on vegan options. they can also make special items when booking for a group vegan dinner. this is the place to get falafel packaging, an amazing vegan Mediterranean crispy hot chips in bendigo. casual ess in or great for taking. updated by previous review on 2022-01-24
The staff and the food are always fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant/cafe for delicious Turkish cuisine.
I just tried the baked potato at Cafe Istanbul and absolutely loved it. My husband also surprised me with some authentic Turkish delight and apple tea. The staff were friendly and attentive. We definitely plan on returning. Thank you, Cafe Istanbul!
We opted for takeout and were promptly served. The food was fresh and delicious, with the lamb being especially tasty and the salads crisp and flavorful. The portions were generous. The baklava was soaked in honey and absolutely delightful. I would definitely recommend this place.
Those jumbo kebabs are a 10/10 best Turkish food in bendigo by a long shot. Only place I'll get a kebab in bendigo now. Good work guys
