What John Shivraj doesn't like about Restoran Foon Lock:
If you're heading towards Kuantan, this is a great spot for dining in Bentong, just a 1-minute drive from the highway. Known for its crispy Genting boar belly and yao mak vegetables. Very affordable and compliant with standard operating procedures. I would definitely return. View all feedback.

Over 20 social distanced tables. Clean bright shop. Friendly staff clean cool bathroom toilet. Food served in 15min. Stuffed fresh pork tofu pok with smooth pork paste similar to Bentong famous stuffed tofu pok with light soup. 4 king vege had ladies finger, young fresh French beans, 4angle brinjal fried wit dried prawns. Lightly fried mushroom, carrot ginger slices was flavoured by its natural mushroom sweetness. Overall a gd meal...non pricing picture menu.
It was our late lunch at this restaurant after visiting the premium outlet at Genting Highlands. It was recommended by my cousin. She said their crispy pork belly was the best she had ever tried. And true enough, we enjoyed it tremendously. It was good as a dish alone and also just as good with noodles. They were so delicious. We also ordered their signature steamed chicken with ginger and beehoon. It was good as well. Added on their Bentong yeong taufu pok. It didn't really have much taste. We suspected the tasty crispy pork belly overpowered all the other dishes. We also ordered their signature fried taufu with minced pork. Our token vegetables dishes were stir-fried French beans and watercress. Since the crispy pork belly was so good, most of us had them as takeaway. Their pricing were reasonable as well.
Was headed towards the East Coast and decided to stop here for lunch. Food was good overall and we enjoyed the nice cooling weather. The best dish for me was the stir fried pork or what they call the Genting pork belly which consisted of thin slices of pork belly deep fried till super crispy and coated in a sweet savoury sauce. Within the shop they also sell sauces and other packet food as well and at the store front you would see some fruit stalls as well.
Below expectation. I have tried the same dishes from their KL Sunway Velocity branch several times. This restaurant’s standard is far behind theirs. Not sure if this is the main branch. But its disappointing. Overall all dishes are salty, no spiciness on their ginger dishes, ginger steam chicken they gave us almost ALL chicken breasts. Not worth the visit.
