a perfect place for a walk or a picnic, with scenic view and plenty of free space. there is a caffe that serves good fresh food and has good visibility to the outside area. there are also many free parking spaces. also in the environment there are a series of other areas of interest so that they will be explored in the future! What 370koko doesn't like about Hall Place Riverside Cafe:
Was a regular visitor for years, loved the ploughmans and Sausage Mash but no longer available. The new menu is like a greasy spoon cafe, which is no longer in keeping with the lovely venue. The fish goujons where overcooked, more batter than fish and the chips tasted like they had been cooked more than once. The staff aren’t much better, used to be so friendly and welcoming and now they are rude and look miserable.... View all feedback.
Upgraded menu since our last visit. Lovely breakfast and very polite attentive staff. Great place to sit and watch by the waters edge.
