"Had breakfast on Wednesday morning. Cauliflower fritters that were so good we went back for dinner. Had the Mel shell oysters which were very fresh but I would have liked to be told that they were massive. Would not have had a dozen. Maybe half a doz and later a dessert. The pork belly was excellent,well cooked and presented(maybe a little more of the delicious polenta). The squid curry had a great flavour and was well presented. But the best thing was the delicious bread, which I am having some of now for breakfast toasted. All in all a terrific dining experience unexpected in Bicheno."

"We were in Bicheno recently for a week of relaxation. Noticed Salty Splash had moved up the road from where it was a couple years ago. First night in town we were looking for a quick and tasty take away meal BUT a tad...reluctant to do Salty Splash as we’d had very average pizza there last visit. Decided to bite the bullet and went in and ordered a couple of burgers with the lot chips for 2. HANDS DOWN THE BEST BURGER WE’VE EVER EATEN !! So fresh and simply delish burger and chips super yumm. Over the course of the next 7 days we went back for Pepperoni Pizza $16 for large and beautiful pizza) and on another night Gummy Flake $13) and chips superb flake and 1 serve was big enough for both of us, with $4 chips) Im guessing with covid uncertainty they arent open every day so check to door or give them a call. An absolute MUST."

"Relaxing place to eat with a beautiful view. Was quite busy when I went but good was ready in 10-15 minutes! I got the garlic butter lobsters! The lobster was delicious, you could taste the freshness. The chips and salad weren't just a little side, I got a generous serve of both and for $55 I was very happy and satisfied. Ample parking available. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Tassie!!"

"There are not that many great restaurants in Bicheno. The Sealife Centre on the Bay is an exception. My wife and I enjoyed a good meal there with an excellent view. It is to be recommended."
