"Great pub, staff are the fastest at serving of any pub I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, superb live music venue but oh my is it expensive. Costs more for a pint than a central London pub which explains why its usually empty until 9pm. Has a late license most nights till 2am. Good job there's a cashpoint near by."

"Visited again last night... always have amazing food but last night's meal surpassed any we've had before... with fantastic, attentive and friendly service and a chilled atmosphere.... with the talented chefs explaining the dishesto you... "Fine dining restaurant with a seasonal changing menu. They cater for vegetarians as well as a halal menu available on request. Food is as expected for fine dining and you'd be hard pressed to not enjoy the dining experience from here. Do not go here if you're looking for an everyday restaurant type meal... far from it. Give yourself a few hours to enjoy the food too. We went for a 5 course meal but probably ate more like 10+ with all the little in betwwwn surprises you wouldn't ever get in a normal restaurant. Definitely a dine dine"

"Had been a regular customer before this incident. The store manager was rude and unaccomodating to our concerns with one of items we ordered. No resolution or help was provided. 2 of the other 3 staff members were making innapropriate comments in front of us while we had to resort to ordering another dish since the manager refused to do anything to fix the issue. The 2nd dish that came didnt taste great either, although that could be due to the incident leaving a bad taste in general.Just note that whilst the food is okay, the manager will likely not accomodate to fix any issues with your order. It's all over priced and not worth the hype."

"Stunning quality food that they would expect in the rule in posh restaurants, but in a friendly and relaxed environment and at very affordable prices. great personal service through the cook, and all the food is made fresh before spot. had simply the eier benedict and bubble squeak, really delicious! beautiful Italian coffee too strong and robust"

"We waited over 40 minutes for Sunday roast. 2 beef and I chicken meal. 2 small slices of beef on the standard meal, frozen roast potatoes, frozen veg, frozen Yorkshire pudding and what can only be described as packet mash that was horrendously dry. The worse part was the frozen chicken portion that resembled an anemic looking lump of jelly. The middle of the chicken was still frozen. The response from the staff was 'oh sorry, here 's your money back for the chicken dinner. As I refused for them to reheat this in the microwave and and bring it back. This place has gone downhill and we won 't be returning."

"We rarely order a take away and we were looking forward to last night's food as this place has such good reviews. However, it was so disappointing! The stir fried vegetable noodles were congealed and barely warm, with hardly any veg half a tea cup of the type that comes out of a discount frozen packet. We also ordered chicken udon noodles these were slightly better but again the veg was from a frozen packet and the chicken looked like it had come from a can. It was square shaped chunks! And with delivery this was £15! I know food prices have gone up but this was just insulting. Having read the reviews it's mainly for drinks and I would suggest sticking to the tea."
