"Nous avons fêté notre anniversaire de mariage au domaine de la petite métisse, que nous connaissions déjà. Une superbe soirée: accueil chaleureux, entrée( panache créole) exquise, plats (magret de canard et fricassee de poulet a la crème coco) délicieux et desserts gourmands (mousse au chocolat blanc et délices de la petite métisse).A tester!!! "The restaurant is in quite an attractive building just moments off the Autoroute. The surrounding area is not particularly attractive but clearly Le Soubise is a dining destination in itself. The inside is quite formal with the large kitchen visible through a glass wall as you arrive and the dining room in semi classical style with part panelled walls and part exposed brick. There is plenty of parking and on our arrival at 1.30pm the restaurant was about two thirds full. The staff are attentive, the chef greets each diner on arrival, and the food of a very good standard. I would say this is a classic old style French restaurant where the food, service and ambience make the surrounding location an irrelevance. I would highly recommend it for those seeking a top end restaurant in an area that is probably very much lacking such establishments. The lunchtime set menus were Euro 31 and Euro 55 (including wine) which were extremely good value in my view."

"Just popped in on a Saturday night, you do need to book but they did squeeze 4 of us in it opens at 7PM by 7:45 it was packed. They don't do starter just massive plates of food, there speciality is 1.2 KG of chips which have been cooked in Fat not oil and are delicious, coated in a multitude of toppings covered in an ocean of Cheese. the poshest cheesy chips you will ever get and scrummy. We also had the Entrecôte steak 500g yes 1/2 Kilo of mouth watering steak, and a Chicken dish they would have served 2 possibly 3 glass of beer each and a bottle of water 93 Euros a bargain non of us could move for a couple of hours we were that full."

"Very nice culinary experience in the pretty city of Gravelines. Warm welcome and impeccable service are at the service of an elegant and original kitchen. No frozen fries but delicious little potatoes for example. Try it you won't be disappointed."
