We enjoy this place because the owner and his employees are all so great. I love that they carry sorbets. As my husband and I looked into the case, the owner just seemed to know we were looking for dairy free options and pointed us to the sorbets. Six options and the mango is delicious. "Had dinner here on a recent Saturday night and really enjoyed it. We weren't able to get a reservation, but we went to the restaurant early in the evening and were able to slide in. They do have outdoor seating, however it closes at 4pm. I had their Flat Iron Steak and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the peppercorn crust. Despite the warning it was spicy, I didn't find it to be that bad, though I do like pepper. I recommend skipping the Peppercorn Cognac Cream Sauce it comes with and asking for some of the Peppercorn Mushroom-Cognac Sauce. I tried both and in my opinion the Mushroom-Cognac sauce was a better accompaniment."

"This place is a hidden gem! The staff was friendly and we got seated immediately. They even gave our dog water without us requesting. The chicken Tikka masala is one of the best I've had. Their garlic naan was fresh and perfection. The lamb curry was also very tasty and rich in flavor and spices. I also had the mango lasso and it was delicious and not overly sweet. The food was ready very quickly. I highly recommend this place for a great change of pace from all the other overcrowded mediocre restaurants in town that make you wait over an hour to be served. I can't wait to go back every time I visit big bear!"
