"Service was fast and friendly and they were extremely busy. A couple TV's on to watch football and full bar. We started with hot wings since the artichoke dip was out. they were ok. Not really for me but my 17 year old son denied them as leftovers. I had the frac attack gluten free pizza and it was delicious. Hearty toppings and a crisp crust. We also got the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was different. The coating tasted like stove top stuffing but it was cooked well and has plenty of flavor. The patio was closed for the season which was a bummer because it was a beautiful fall day and we've sat out there previously and really enjoyed it."

"The portion size of the roasted squash and apfelsalat is small! there were only 3 crumbs of goat cheese and it was rather lacking taste. most guests ordered hamburger and/or candied speck, so I think that is the reason for the overall good yelp reviews. I have starved and this never happened. service was great and it is a very comfortable restaurant with a good mood."

"Ordered 2 pizzas, both take-n-bake to go. One of the pizzas they just cooked anyway (gee, thanks.. and the other was light on toppings (I guess we only need one jalapeno per slice). And the guy who brought the order up just about threw the boxes at me before running off. Sorry to cause such an inconvenience... Apparently this place is more for the tourists.The first time we stopped in when things were more locked down and we ended up dinning in. At least the server acted like she actually wanted to help. The pizza we ordered (Après Ski) sounded amazing but tasted mediocre."

"My husband and I embarked on a scenic Fall foliage drive during the last weekend of September, with a pit stop in the charming mountain town of Nederland, CO. We decided to grab a quick bite at Salto Cafe. Having already indulged in coffee earlier that morning, we opted for salads and a side of sourdough toast with butter. I ordered the Greek Salad with grilled chicken, and it met my expectations. The portion size was just right for me. On the other hand, my husband chose the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. While he liked the flavor, it left him wanting more, and he wasn’t too keen on the texture and consistency of the dressing. The cafe exudes a welcoming atmosphere, and its outdoor seating is a perfect choice when the weather is pleasant."
