"You have an explicit vegan option and a veganizable BLT (Swap tempeh and vegannaise) so it is a good place to eat with omni friends and family. I have the vegan brunch court (scrambled cauliflower, home fries, tempeh and hollandaise). I am grateful for the option, but this dish is exactly why people think vegan food is not satisfied. Two pieces of bizarre sweet tempeh on a far too large pile of domestic frits embellished with few pieces of cauliflower and Bland Hollandaise. There was very little balance between protein, fat and carbohydrates, much less taste I had to do everything in ketchup and hot sauce."

"We stopped here after eating at the restaurant across the street. The area has quite a few breweries and cool places to check out. We decided to stop in before heading back to our hotel. The interior is pretty basic with a bar to the left as you enter and seating to the right. There is outside seating some covered and some uncovered. I walked up to the bar and ordered one of their IPA's and my wife and I took a seat inside. There were definitely some locals sitting at the the table next to us. My wife and I chatted and look around a bit. The interior was nothing special, just a hangout place. There was a little bit of swag behind the bar. It appears they have about 13 of there own beers on tap. My beer was good but nothing significant. Overall it was a nice stop and a good experience but they really need something more. It kind of left us wanting. Maybe we visited on an off night. We would probably not come back."

"Best pizza in Black Mountain! Delicious gourmet and traditional pizza. Great selection of local beer and apple wine. The indoor and outdoor kitchen is available. Very child-friendly and great service! There is usually a waiting time as this place is so popular. Wait as it works! We had 3 pizzas for our big group. We had the Italian roasted chicken, the Skinny Bacon and a pepperoni. They were delicious and hot!"

"We were looking for a Sunday place for breakfast and Blue Ridge Biscuit Company came to my search. The published photos were tempting enough to check it. When we were there at 9:45, there was a line out of the door. Since we were not yet there, we did not know that their system, but it looked like counter-service with foods that were put on the tables, of what we could see through the window. The line basically did not move about 15 minutes, but when people went out, it started to flow again. Once we realized that they controlled the order flow based on the available tables, the line made more sense. Anyway, on food. The cookies were fresh, the sauces and gravites were excellent, and the waffle was fluffy and delicious. I had the smoky mountain Brook Biscuit, who had a smoked trout dive, dill cream cheese sauce and tomato jam. They could taste the fish, but the taste was not exaggerated, and the dill sauce and tomato jam were perfect. My posing egg was soft and finished the cookie perfectly. My friend ordered the lookout bite, but got Pimiento cheese instead of Cheddar, which was a big substitution. The service was friendly and efficient. I think the food was worth waiting, although I hope to try it on a weekday if the line is not so long!"

"Happy Cow won’t let me give 5 stars because it isn’t 100 Veg, but this place is very accommodating to the VEGAN lifestyle. I’m here in the Winter. The outside patio is closed so there are only 6 8 table available. The outside looks sketchy, but inside is friendly and cozy. The food and service are fabulous. My partner is having mushroom tamales and I’m having vegan French onion soup. The flavors are authentic Argentinian and freshly made in house. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the service."
