Stayed here on the 22nd March having driven down from the North East for a meeting. I cannot speak highly enough about this lovely place. Unspoilt charm of a beautiful old pub, fantastic food and a warm welcome from lovely staff. The newly refurbished rooms are lovely too and quiet as they are separate to the main pub. I booked a room and a meal at the blackboys Inn, the room was great and clean couldn't fault it, we booked a meal on the Saturday we was a bit early and the staff was accommodating and we got seated, but not in the restaurant it was in the bar area witch eas OK apart from a loud bunch of young farmers, thay were in and out of both bars and the outside area, we didn't appreciate the bad language that was getting worse... read more.
