What Dave doesn't like about The White Horse Inn:
Not going to lie, the food wasn 't all that great at all, maybe just an off evening . It was average at best, steak was very fatty, chips very greasy. Service was OK but not great, atmosphere was spoilt by literally being sat ontop of 2 other tables. It felt like everything we said was a conversation with 2 other couples who we didn 't know. After a brisk walk yesterday, we popped in for some lunch and what a lovely surprise !! Comfortable pub with a rustic yet modern interior !! Nice menu, very nice staff and well worth a visit !!
We held a surprise Birthday meal here for my Dad last night. Fantastic evening, lovely food, brilliant service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The serving staff where brilliant with the little ones bringing them chocolate eggs out from the Easter bunny. Would defiantly recommend and will be returning in the future. Thank you for helping make it a memorable evening.
Had another lovely meal here today. Have never been disappointed with the food or drinks we have had here. Food portions are extremely generous, with a good meal selection, all very reasonably priced. Due to the weather conditions we made a slight change to our booking and as usual Ali was more than accommodating. Definitely will continue to come here, always made to feel welcome and is very dog friendly.
First time here after someone recommended it. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food is great pub grub. Will he coming back. 10/10
