A lovely cafe with about a third of the menu suitable for vegans. The options available are also very good as well. We ordered a hotdog each with onions and garlic mayo, which were delicious and a very good texture and a sausage roll to share that was flavoursome but the pastry was a bit too flaky. What SabPoe doesn't like about Cafe Shrub:
I go for walks there a lot and sometimes want to grab something quick. I ordered a veggie sausage butty which took 20min to be made. It ended up only being the bread and a sausage, no other ingredients, which was dry. Glad they try to make vegan food but it turns out to take a long time and the quality is disappointing. Also, vegans are taken care of here. The locale offers a wide assortment of cuisines, in the preparation of which completely animal foods are avoided, In the morning you can start your day strengthened with a fantastic breakfast.
