"I stopped at this diner on Hwy 17 in Blind River on the way home after a week long road trip. I was looking for a comforting, home cooked meal after too many fast food take outs and it was perfect. I ordered the pickerel dinner, which was lightly dusted and then pan fried. Two generous scoops of real mashed potatoes, several spears of real asparagus, real carrots, broccoli and cauliflower don't think any of the above were of the frozen variety! It was the second most expensive dish after the whitefish so was great value, at $16.95, for the price. The waitress was lovely and kind. I could see the water's edge from where I was sitting. All in all, excellent value at an honest hometown restaurant!"

"Stopped in for a cup of tea and a doughnut. The lady who served me was friendly and took the COVID19 guidelines very seriously. I did think it strange that the manager allowed people to walk around without a mask on but you had to show proof of vaccination and photo ID to eat in!"

"I prefer Mr. Sub over Subway but this subway was great. Not like all the others out there. Very clean and super friendly staff. Subway should secret shopper this location. Brenda behind the counter makes a great sub, walking you though all the options. A true sandwich professional if I've ever seen one before. So flawless in her service from walking in the door she greeted me while making a sub for a customer, making sure the sub was perfect, up selling to a combo and then try for the large drink. Not to many employees give this great of service, almost like she was treating the business like it was hers. Subway you would want this girl at Subway University that how great she was. And again, I don't even really like subway she was just that great I had to say something!!! Thank you for taking the time to care Brenda!!!"

"100 points for location! Set right beside the river, patio overlooks the river. Very spacious inside. The tables set near the window have an amazing view of the river. Food is fine. Service is good."
