Excellent all round. A beautiful old inn in an idyllic spot, just on the edge of the Hardwick Hall Estate. The staff are great and the food was generous and simply delicious. The best meal I’ve had in ages! View all feedback.

The inn was packed and we were eating in the bar surrounded by standing customers. The service was polite and speedy. The food left a little to be desired, my pork was over cooked , dry and chewy. It came with a huge dollop of mash and some red cabbage all a bit boring ! View all feedback.
