Stopped here for dinner during a tour through Dublin. The owner chatted about the history behind the name, in which mulled wine was invented to warm up patrons. The beef stew was hearty and delicious. Staff was hospitable and attentive. View all feedback.

Have eaten in the Punch Bowl sporadically for many years. Always found the pub grub delicious especially lasagne. Ate there this evening with a colleague and the food was shockingly bad. I opted for a chicken burger which was lacking in taste, overdone and the chips were horrendous. Overdone and not fresh. My friend agreed. He opted for turkey and ham and found the standard very poor. Will not be returning. View all feedback.
