We always head to Al Gambero Rosso when we’re in Bosa. Fantastic Sardinian food cooked by an expert chef. We especially love the seafood and the fresh ravioli....

"Tried to get into this restaurant one evening for dinner but it was fully booked so we booked for another evening and was really pleased we did. In fact it was so nice that we booked to go again the following evening. It does get very busy (we saw several people turned away both evenings we ate here because they hadn't booked) so I'd suggest booking before turning up. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world. I did order a beef and pork main course which was delicious but looked very small when it arrived but there was more of it than it looked and also if you've had a starter it is plenty."

"Very mediocre. Over priced and small portions. Could have eaten double what we ordered. Service is quick but staff not very friendly. We ate and left. Wouldn't go back and if you are really hungry (like we were) don't go there!"

"We ate there at the recommendation of our B and B host. There was no prices on either of the 2 menus food from the sea and land) and we were charged 73 euro for what was a very mediocre meal including a whopping 12 euro for a jug of Table wine!!!! We've been paying 3 or 4 euros for better wine elsewhere in Sardinia. The fritto misto was charged at 15 euros and was basically some deepfried squid and a few prawns. The seafood spaghetti was mainly made up of half pieces of small crab that were too fiddly to be sucking on!! We've had many great meals for alot less in Sardinia this week. Disappointing and ripped off as no prices on the menu."

"We had lunch at this restaurant following the suggestion of the owner of the close gas station. The fish was really terrific and the service good. The antipasti and the fregola (kind of a Sardinian cous cous) were my favorite plates. Be aware that is often crowded. This means that it is not the best for a quiet or romantic meal, and also that you need to reserve the table in advance."
