"Still one of the best restaurants in Colorado. The views are outstanding. We arrived early enough to have the sun set during our time there. The food, as always, is outstanding. We left so full. The best aspect of the Flagstaff House is the service. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the menu was custom printed with the celebrant's name and date on it. The server then offered to have the menu placed in our car so we would not forget it. The overall service from arrival to departure was top notch. This is a large reason why we visit the Flagstaff House for those special occasions. You do feel like royalty"

"Best cake ever! All of their flavors are delicious and the cakes are super moist. I don't like cake from anywhere else because the frosting is too rich but this place has the perfect balance of cake and frosting. I won't go anywhere else!"

"That's your typical college brother. Nothing beautiful, and there is only room for 4 to sit. Service was friendly. I gave only 4 stars as I had No Onions and my burger had onions. Big burgers at a fair price. This is worth the visit."

"This review is also to mention them again because today, with all Boulder dine in restaurants closed currently for the pandemic, my friend surprised me with a superb 3 course lunch to go (at a fraction for what it really should cost). This take-out simply has to be the best quality food you can buy to go in Boulder. My lamb shank, arancini, and chocolate torte were all exactly what I wanted, served on our dining room table for a fraction of dine in. We will absolutely do this again, much sooner than later. Thanks guys!"

"Very good food. Beef Wellington is the best I had on the menu. Although the waiting time taxi long at times the staff is quite friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place for special events or occasional Fancy date!"

"In 2018 my husband and I took a trip of a life time and visited Japan for a month, visiting Tokyo, Sendai, And Kyoto, with day trips all across the island. We threw ourselves into the sights, sounds, and the food like the gluttons we are. We had both wanted to visit Japan before we even met and we finally pulled the trigger. A day doesn’t go by where I don’t think about the trip. Since returning we’ve been starved for the exquisite flavors of Japan. Last year we moved to Colorado and we were recently guided to Osaka’s and it was like being teleported back to Japan. From the okonomiyaki, to the ramen, to the sushi, all of it took us back to our favorite places on our trip. On our first visit I tried the the kaisen seafood okonomiyaki, which was rich and flavorful, spiced and cooked perfectly. The husband tied the modan pork belly version. Both of the dishes took us back to a little place we tried in Kyoto. We were so impressed we decided to try a sushi plate, the cuts were thick, and it was like butter, like the sushi house we tried in Sendai. Our most recent visit we went for ramen, and we both tried Osaka’s signature bowl. The pork broth is stunning, creamy, and full of flavor. And my word, the cashu literally falls apart it’s so tender. We’ve been desperate to find ramen that compares to our time in Japan and Osaka’s has filled that that little hole we’ve been missing. The owner stopped by our table and we shared our story and he shared his with us, and it was just delightful. The staff is so friendly, and we tried using what little Japanese we knew from our trip to show how much we had appreciated the food and service. This is our new favorite place to visit, we’ll be back, hell I’ve been there three times in the last month. ごちそうさま でした"
