We visited on a cold winters day and the log fire was greatly appreciated. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a good place for families. It even has a small play area for young children. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Albion Hotel:
Very nice place for a good hearty feed and best value is the specials every night. On a down note the salad bar usually a sad sight and its a hit and miss for excellent meals to just a average feed. Sometimes its outstanding and other times is just average, must be the different cooks but in most cases it has not stopped us from going back so in general the meals a re good. View all feedback.
Very comfortable rooms, we paid a bit extra for a king with a balcony.

Another pub that has character. It is pub food but well done pub food. Our meals were quite good and we all had problems finishing them because of the size. We didn't order the salad bar thank goodness, it wasn't very appealing. That would probably be my only negative comment. Staff were great with smiles!
Happily surprised here... Good pub, great service...high quality food (interesting salad bar) good atmosphere. Not flashy...but priced accordingly...good honest feed
