"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening. I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming. If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

"I booked a table here for my birthday dinner with friends and wow! From the moment we arrived we were taken care of. The cocktail menu was fantastic. I had the saffron arancini balls and they were delish. Tried the wild mushroom as well but preferred the saffron. Main and Dessert were a 10/10. The only disappointment would be when we went to pay they had trouble splitting the bill and put other people's orders on ours but we got it sorted and it definitely did not deter from the amazing food we had during the night. I want to return so I can try out the cheese pasta wheel as well as the many dishes that were available for me as a vegetarian. That doesn't happen too often."

"Five of us had lunch here on Friday and we all enjoyed each other very much. as a midday on a weekday there were only a few other tables occupied and the noise level was bearable. our table divided 4 entrees be the pide, chickpea . corn brot, dip duo haloumi – all fabulous only the chickpea corn brot was a little dry. we then had each net – 3 of us chose the steak and the other 2 selected chicken shish grilled chicken. my well-made steak was perfect and we all agreed that our main thing was in front of us. the young man who served our table was friendly, patient and efficient. You can sit inside or outside, but in winter we sat inside when it was huge. we bought 4 bottles of red wine to share. we would return to lunch."
