What Dane Hoeger likes about Merville General Store:
Merville General Store serves an area, rather than a village, as there is no village in the vicinity. It also supplies gas and essentials in food and liquor. The food area is small maybe a half dozen tables, but has great grub, and that is what it is, grub. Nothing fancy just plain good eating that fills a hole. Would recommend it for anyone who is passing up the old highway between Courtenay and Campbell River. View all feedback.

First, IT'S NOT the General Store,** it's the cafe in the store**. The cafe is called Eats and Treats. We wrote at one time it was a great place to go, BUT not any more.Twice in the last three times we've been there we found hair in the food. There are quite a few amazing ramen places in this area, but Zetton consistently impresses and has become my favourite.
The poke bowl is HUGE and definitely worth the price because of its proportion.
