What User doesn't like about oliver's coffee shop Gravenhurst:
Tried Olivers Coffee Shop for the first time recently in Gravenhurst, On. Service was ok and the staff was ok. The service was somewhat slow and did not get to try pastries. Coffee was average. They do not take credit cards . Cash or debit card only...so be prepared. View all feedback.
Oliver's Coffee is a benchmark for service excellence. Consistent, hospitable, quaint and delectable are a few words I would used to describe the experience. You must visit!!!! Must!
The lunch combo at this restaurant is fantastic! It includes soup, a sandwich, and a drink (also available in half portions). They also offer a diverse selection of coffees and teas. The atmosphere is nice and cozy.
There are two issues with this restaurant location that I must address. Firstly, the lineup system is chaotic. During the pandemic, there were clear signs and organization, but now that it's supposedly "over," it seems chaotic with people standing everywhere. I recommend putting up signs again for clear direction. Secondly, it would be beneficial to change the cup sizes to Small, Medium, and Large or simply provide customers with what they ask for without clarification. I consistently order a medium coffee and yet the staff always question if I am aware that the medium is actually a small. Despite these frustrations, the food and coffee are still good, so I rate this location at 4 stars. However, these issues do evoke a sense of frustration in me.
Skip Starbucks! This place had great coffee, hot chocolate, snacks (the caramel coffee cake muffin is out of this world), and a relaxed atmostphere. We ate here twice, once as a snack, and the other time for breakfast (quick sandwich).
I purposely avoided Starbucks in order to patronize a more local business too bad the coffee wasn’t better. It was weaker than expected and the gluten free muffin was even dryer than most. Too bad because I’d hoped for better.
