"This place is gorgeous but the staff are insanely rude. When we arrived, we had a big hole in the floor of our room, none of the sinks drained, all the lightbulbs were missing so we had no light at nighttime, and the handle to our freezer popped off every time we opened it. The room wasn’t clean it was so dusty and dirty. When someone came to fix the sink, our entire room smelt like fish for a full day after. They did nothing about the hole in the floor just said it couldn’t be fixed. We emailed to complain, and they responded and said to call. We called; they said to email. Clearly no one there cares.The breakfast is garbage they shouldn’t call it breakfast lol … it’s muffins in bags.The resort is so great but don’t waste your money paying to stay in a trash room with staff who are rude. Go somewhere else."

"I ordered a macchiato and was given a tall latte. When I tried to explain that a macchiato is an espresso with a dash of foamed milk, the girl at the counter aggressively insisted that I am wrong and what I describe is a cappucino. I left the latte at the counter and had a good macchiato at Camp Muskoka Coffee a few blocks down the road, where they knew what it is."

"Started the day with a breakfast at the restaurant overlooking the river. A great view to enjoy in the morning. Breakfast choices were ordinary for American food, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, fruit etc, served in generous portions for hearty appetites. reasonable pricing $8.50 - $15"

"Nice gluten free restaurant / bakery. The cinnamon buns were very tasty. The brownies are good too but one would be enough for 2-3 people to share as they are very rich & chocolatey. They have 5-6 tables for eat-in."
