Been a couple of times recently as it’s a nice friendly pub near to where my daughter lives so a family gathering which was booked in advance. I had the beef ale pie at £11.49, others Katsu chicken at £10.49. Gammon steak at £10.79, hunters chicken at £10.29, etc. all the food decent sized portions tasted lovely. Staff friendly helpful as we also got a 20% discount for blue light. View all feedback.
What YorkshireGirlies doesn't like about Chapel House:
Booked lunch on 2 occasions. 1st meal was fishcakes, which came with a poached egg and tiny bit of salad. No chips or potatoes. Tasted nice but very much overpriced at £13.49! We were still hungry so ordered a crumble dessert each, which came with a very small jug of custard (not enough). Lovely, friendly service from all. Just like a home from home. Warm and inviting. Dogs are welcome and catered for with their own menu

The menu of the local is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are courses that entirely abstain from meat, and even has gluten-free meals on the menu. Also, you'll find a large selection of vegan dishes on the menu.
