"They refused to honour the table reservation. The next two reservations for our size chart were not for another hour at the time we arrived. You could have offered us to eat a burger in an hour or a kind of discount on the take. Instead, we were told that the order on an open table was not accurate and must be done at least one day in advance. Terrible attitude all the time."

"This is one for the sushi connoisseurs and the Japanese tragics like us. An 8-item tasting plate to begin followed by 12, yes twelve, individually prepared, mainly sushi, items. Most of them exquisitely flamed, dressed and presented. Then follows a delicious small dessert. Oh, I forgot to mention the four different saki (or six if you prefer) which accompany the dishes. No wonder it has just been awarded a 'Hat ' by the 2018 Good Food Guide. Not cheap but book in advance because it had only eight seats per session!"

"A touch of the Middle east in an industrial part of Moorabbin, perhaps 15km from the Melbourne CBD. Unusual. Not expected. But the place has something it is very basic, you go for the food. My experience was, you actually go for the excellent dips and salads. The schnitzel was OK, but the dips (egg, eggplant etc) were really good. After my lunch, I ordered multiple containers to take for dinner that night. I am already planning a lunch get together with some people for 2019."
