I doubt if you could find a more pleasant location for a cafe than this. The village of Finchingfield is stunning, and this cafe fits in perfectly. There are only about half a dozen tables inside but more outside on the village green. Read the reviews and was looking forward to having lunch here. The quiche had been reheated in a microwave. The first bite was really hot the rest lukewarm or cold. There was a long grey hair in the salad (mine is neither long or grey). Fruit scone was OK, but I've had much better. Nothing tasted homemade or fresh. For a teashop I was disappointed that the tea was bag and not leaf. View all feedback.
