not busy, but table in a good position when we arrived. meet greet fine, service prompt without ott, eat (inkl burger, see bass, huh) all excellent. drink good, puddings excellent. total good experience and will soon visit again. parking easy, loo is good. View all feedback.

we were often and had excellent eating etc. this pub has recently changed the hands and the market on many species I unfortunately say. great disappointment in many contemplations. it can't take long if they don't address the problems. View all feedback.
I like this pub, I and my wife went in the afternoon and had a meal very nice. the poor lady barmaid was under pressure, but nothing was too much annoyed.
Just amazing. they have a top cook and eating is the best we ever had and we were on some big designated places.
I used to live in Great Bardfield. Have always known The Vine. Sadly I was there for a funeral wake ....food was lovely and nicely presented.
It is changed property / management. Earlier there was an excellent wine list and imaginative food. Now it's a Bog Standard Pub.
We were often and had excellent food etc. This pub has recently changed hands and lost the market in many ways, I'm sorry to say. Great disappointment in many ways. It can't take long unless they treat the problems.
