"Lovely pub. Decor good. Open fire. Service excellent. Food superb. I’m very critical as we don’t eat out a lot. If the service, decor and food aren’t good I won’t go back. I’m definitely going back. Good honest pub food at its best."

"God where do I start....We end up here quite often simply because the food is AMAZING!!! Faultless, tasty, well presented ,delicious and pure yummy. I can't recommend ranfields enough. Jon boy is a fantastic chef, as are his staff. Sarah is just delightful always a cracking welcome. My boys loved it. I'm sure me and chiefy Janey potter will be turning up soon. Xx"

"Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was very tasty but you did have to wait a long time between courses so maybe they need more staff in the kitchen. Overall tasty food and very reasonable priced but spoilt it buy the very long wait between starter and main course"

"A very nice meal and they house us, about 10 minutes they fire the kitchen closed and half an hour before the jubilee on Saturday. we have paid about £33 per head, including a few bigger and white wein splashers. we have swept apart. If they want quality, they try 47."

"This place is a pricey but excellent restaurant. Its worth every penny spent. Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere and food I would expect to find in a Michelin star restaurant. Between myself and my wife we had the mussels and rabbit croquette to start followed by chicken and the fillet steak. Everything was prepared and cooked to perfection. If we are ever coming this way again this will be the first place we book."
