"Time travel? At the Dattler family you can eat very well, enjoy a great view of Freiburg and compete on the way to Freiburg's Schlossberg with a private railway. "We visited the establishment because of recommendations on Tripadvisor. I did not find it a wow factor, but the food was good. The house salad was a bit disappointing. Loads of leaves, with a fewsalad goodies on top. My lasagne was different to what I am used to, but very tasty. Plus point is that I asked for a hot sauce on the side, which is not very common in Germany. It was similar to a peri peri oil, but delicious."
