Fantastic staff and lovely room Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
I feel a description of why 3 stars on the rooms and 5 stars overall The first room we had we had issues with. A bit dirty, old and stale. We asked for a change and the duty manager accommodated us. The second room is a very good standard and much more on point. I understand the hotel has new owners and the newly decorated room we were in is a vast improvement on the old. Modern and stylish. Warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good. A good cooked breakfast was had. The restaurant menu looks good and inviting. I would say the only negative is kerb side appeal is lacking and am sure as the owners set there mark a greater attention to detail will be forthcoming. Feels harsh to mark them down as they have tried and the staff are hard working and really aim to please. Am sure that a lot of the small minor issues will be sorted. I would happily advise as have been in the industry for 30+ years. If not, will be back in a year or 2. Definitely a great little hotel on the way up. But, would definitely recommend it anyway as it is
